Product Details
The Sutherland Sweater is a simple and quick to crochet pattern which makes for the perfect baby gift. Worked top down, this cute little raglan sweater is ideal for keeping baby cosy.
This pattern uses US Terminology and simple stitches such as half double crochet, double crochet and front and back post double crochet stitches. Knowledge of the foundation double crochet stitch is useful for a quick start and stretchy neckline, however can be substituted with a chain and double crochets, which also work effectively.
This sweater works up beautifully in James C. Brett Baby Marble DK yarn (or any soft acrylic double knit yarn). A 3.5mm hook is recommended for this project however check with the gauge to ensure your tension matches this hook size.
