Product Details
The Thistle and Weeds socks are knit top down, with lace on the leg and instep and a picot cuff. A solid yarn really allows the lace to steal the show, but the pattern also works well for variegated yarns.
Sock is available in size small (60 stitch cast on) and large (70 stitch cast on).
Gauge is 9 stitches per inch and 12 rows per inch in stockinette.
Sample was knit in World of yarn, the knitting traveler in colourway Frozen Rainbows. Sample is a size small with a 9 inch foot and used 245 meters (268 yards) of yarn.
Required materials
- 300 meters of fingering weight yarn.
- 2.5 mm (US 1.5) double pointed or circular needles.
- Tapestry needle.
The pattern can be worked from written instructions or from charts.
