Product Details

This is THE basic pattern that everyone should have. I am using this to teach my class on Top Down Raglan. There are suggestions on many modifications. Pattern PDF has 6 pages, with colour photos, schematic, metric and imperial measurements This is a standard fitting garment and has approx 5-10 cm/ 2-4 ins of ease, worked in one piece. Choose a size approx 5 cm/ 2 ins larger than your bust/chest measurement, or more for a looser fit. Designed by Michelle Porter

• Yarn requirements are approximate and serve only as a guide. 900 (1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) m/ 985 (1095, 1205, 1315, 1425, 1535) yds OR approx 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7) 100 g/ 3½ oz balls of an ARAN weight yarn

OTHER MATERIALS • Circular needle 5 mm/ US 8, 60 cm/ 24 ins long, or size required to achieve correct tension • Circular needle 5 mm/ US 8, 40 cm/ 16 ins long or same size as above • Set of double point needles (or 2 circular needles) 5 mm/ US 8, or same size as above, for sleeve bottoms• Spare circular needles in similar size, 40 cm/ 16 ins long, as holders• 4 – 6 point protectors, for ends of needles used as holders• 4 Stitch markers, 1 a different colour than the other 3• Yarn needle
