These decorative dolls are quick and easy knitting projects, suitable for confident beginners.
The Soldiers are knitted flat using basic stitches. 18 photos guide you through making up and finishing your Toy soldier. I also include alternative detailed instructions for embroidered eyes.
Instructions are given for the large DK version (16cm /6.25”) of the Soldier doll.
To make a smaller version (14cm /5.5”) follow the same pattern using 4ply yarn, this size ideal for decorations to hang on your Christmas tree.
Less than 10g of each colour are used for each soldier ornament, making this great stash busting project.
