Product Details

I found this yarn so wonderful in its shading that I wanted to create a scarf (or something, but it ended up as a scarf) that showed off the colour changes to the best effect by using just enough of it in each row to have the colours change softly each row, but using a pattern that made them blend together rather than just straight stripes. So this scarf was born. I’ve made lots! Really any shaded yarn will do, but I really recommend the King Cole Riot DK for the length and subtlety of the colour changes. You’ll see why it’s called Triple Ripple when you work it – you’ll be counting to three in your sleep, there are three waves along the width and it’s all triple crochet stitches! Note this is in UK crochet terms – I think in the US the stitch is called a dc.
