Tropical Toucan overlay mosaic square

I've always loved tropical birds (all birds, really), and have fond childhood memories of family vacations to various amusement parks & zoos where we'd enjoy interacting with the friendly exotic birds! I designed a series of 4 tropical birds (see my other listings for the rest) as a tribute to those memories. This pattern is for the Tropical Toucan you see in the main image, however you can add other colors like some of my testers to make it your own!

This pattern uses the overlay mosaic method combined with some mid row color changes & is the same size as all my other squares which are approx. 13” when using medium weight yarn & a 5mm hook - perfect for joining together into a larger project, or use individually for tote bags, pillows, place mats, etc!
