This cowl provides a beautiful canvas for a design of the tulips from the famous Keukenhof Tulip Gardens in Holland. The use of long stripes and the gradient transition of overlapping colors is a great way to do a stranded knitting pattern without the many bits of colored yarn and ends to sew in. You’re in control, so if you don’t like the way the colors are stacking vertically in the pattern you can break the yarn and start at the next color transition. Knit with two yarns that are larger in gauge, this is a quick knit for a stunning result.
