Product Details

This is a pattern for pair of fingerless mitts. They measure approximately 4- 5 inches from the base of your thumb up your arm. They feature twist stitch patterns on both sides of the mitts, with a ribbing center (on the underside) for shaping.

The mitts also have a thumb gusset to insure the best fit, that will allow you to text, type and knit while keeping warm at the same time. One size fits most, as a result of the lateral give, but there are tips for changing the size within each pattern. These mitts are made using two circular needles, and a slightly heavy weight fingering weight yarn.  Any fingering/sport weight yarn that yields 6 1/2 sts/inch on size 2.5mm needle works for this pattern.

The stitches are both charted and written out ‘line by line”.

These mitts require under 1 skein of most socks yarns. The sample was made using Handmaiden's Casbah
