Product Details
How to crochet a cute, potted sunflower using any size pot or upcycled coffee mug. I am sharing instructions for a mug my size, but I am also going to explain how to adjust it to custom fit. There is a video tutorial included. You'll need some worsted weight yarn, I used Red Heart Super Saver in the Coffee/Cafe Latte (42 Yards), Tea Leaf (10 Yards) and Bright Yellow (25 Yards) colorways. You'll also need a H8/5mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, soft tape measure, stuffing, pot or mug and then pipe cleaners are optional for extra support. For reference, I had mine ready in just under 1 hour, 15 minutes. Gauge is essential for the proper fit, and following my mug, is measured in the round starting with 10 HDC and increasing to 30 HDC, 30 HDC = 3" in diameter.
