Product Details
This lightweight wrap features two lace stitches. The focal stitch is a fairly dramatic knit stitch that shows up nicely whether you are using solid, semi-solid or variegated yarn. It is a very elegant wrap without being difficult to knit. The final size is 22 1/2 inches by 72 inches. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged.
Skill Level: Beginner + - Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)
The stitch patterns are both charted and written out line by line.
The yarn used in the sample is Handmaiden’s Casbah in colorway, Pumpkin.
No crochet hooks are needed if you opt not to do the edging.
Most heavy weight fingering or sport weight yarn yielding 4.5 sts/inch in lace stitch. I used size size (U.S.) #6 (4.00mm) needles.
