Product Details

This jumper was designed and whilst I was binge-watching old episodes of Vera. I absolutely love her down to earth nature and her no-nonsense utilitarian style. I think this jumper would appeal to her as it is simple enough to work on whilst busy with other things, but with that bit of interest that keeps you wondering what the next part will look like. And I am sure she would love the use of scraps left over from making socks to create the sleeves of this sweater. The sweater is knitted top down, you begin working flat and later join to work in the round. The raglan sleeves are knitted together with the yoke, then they are separated when you get to the body. This is when you stop working flat and begin to work in the round. The sleeves are picked up later and also knitted in the round.
