My mother quite often wore a beautiful macramé shawl when I was just a keiki (child) in Hawai’i. My daughter later found said shawl while rummaging through my mother’s closet & incorporated it into her wardrobe as a scarf! I then stole it from my daughter, and created this replacement that I also had to make for myself and my mother!
You know how most crocheted Triangle Shawls get longer before they get wider? Not this one! That's why it makes such a great shawl AND scarf :)
This is an ADVANCED BEGINNER pattern as it has the mild challenges of a treble crochet and a change of direction.
