Product Details
The front and back of this sweater is worked in pieces from the bottom up, then joined at the shoulders. Sleeve stitches are then picked around each armhole and worked down. Read the charts from right to left on RS rows and left to right on WS rows. The colourwork design is worked using the Intarsia technique. You will need a separate ball of the background colour on eiither side of the ‘flash’, as well as the two contrast colours. Intarsia is easy to do and very satisfying! All you need to remember is to pick up the yarn you're about to start working with up from underneath the yarn you've just finished working with. This will twist the yarns and join the blocks of colour so that there are no holes where the colour changes.
