What you'll need
Product Details
If you love knitting cables, you’ll enjoy this shawl made using light worsted weight yarn, guaranteeing that you’ll be warm. The patch pockets ensure that the shawl will stay put on your shoulders. The patch pockets are optional as they are placed on last.
Both cables are both charted and written out line by line, and there is a schematic to help you place the pockets
The focal cable comes to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney and the border cable is a Japanese stitch.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).
There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.
The yarn used in the sample is Handmaiden’s Organic Chinook yarn. Any light worsted weight yarn will work for this pattern.
No crochet hooks are needed if you do not want to edge the shawl.
