Product Details
This warm pocket shawl pattern is designed using two very unusual cable stitches: a highly textured overlapping cable, and a 7-stitch twisted cable. If you enjoy cabling, you’ll enjoy making this shawl.
The shawl is made using worsted weight yarn, and hence is very warm. The patch pockets ensure that your shawl stays on your shoulders.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).
Both stitches are charted. The focal stitch is both charted and written out line by line.
The yarn used in the sample is Shepherd Worsted by Lorna’s Laces, in colorway, Fjord, however any worsted weight yarn will work with this pattern.
No crochet hooks are needed if you don't want to edge the shawl.
