Product Details
A simple shape with some lovely details: Water Skaters, so named because the traveling lines of the lace pattern look like insect legs on a pond, is a great project for a beginner who wants to broaden her skill range or a seasoned knitter who just likes to make cowls. Garter stitch edgings give way to a (very easy!) large scale lace pattern. The lace pattern is both written out and charted, so new knitters can learn to read a chart. Notes are included in the pattern for making either a taller cowl or a longer one.
Sample used about 180 yards of worsted to aran weight yarn. You may need a bit more yarn than me, so I’ve listed the yardage needed as 160-200.
