Weathering the Storm hat features simple repeated cables and ribbing to show off a complex colorway. There are a matching cowl and fingerless mitts available.
Finished Size: 20.8(22.4, 24)” around, 8.75” tall
Yarn: Fairy Tale Yarn Co. Unicorn Tweedy, 85% Superwash Merino, 15% Donegal Nep, 246 yards/3.5oz. Sample knit in Druid Snowstorm. Medium sample as shown uses approximately 125 yards.
Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or your preferred method for knitting in the round; size 5 US (3.75 mm) or size to obtain gauge
Gauge: 20 stitches/28 rows in 4” blocked stockinette in the round. 8 stitches/8 rows in 1” blocked pattern.
Note: If you would like a longer hat, work more repeats of the chart before beginning the instructions as written. This will, of course, affect the yardage used. Sample shown is as it is written below.
