The Westie tea cosy is so heart warming with his cute little expression and pricked ears and tail, who wouldn't want this cute little chap guarding their teapot and keeping the tea hot? I am an animal lover myself and Westies are so characterful that I knew a West Highland Terrier would be a delight to design and a joy to adorn any teapot, so I just had to make it.
The pattern is really easy with just the basic stitches, knit and purl, increase and decrease. But when other people see the tea cosy they will think it's a lot harder to make than it actually is. But in reality, it's a weekend project.
