Product Details

Easy modular cowl with subtle colour variations, reminiscent of weaving, and the perfect project for anybody new to modular knitting.

You will need one ball each in colours 01 (off-white), 06 (black), 07 (beige mix), 08 (brown mix), 09 (amethyst), 13 (denim blue), 15 (green), 17 (yellow mix), or the leftovers from the Mallards cowl (see notes).

The knitting is done with two colours held together, which gives the piece a lovely substantial body and makes it work up quickly. The main part is worked flat as a scarf, then joined while completing the last square - no seams required! The edging is worked in the round.

Skills required:  Cast on with two ends (long-tail cast-on); cast on with one end (single cast-on); knit; purl; knit three together; purl three together.

A big thank you to master box player Damian McKee of Beoga fame for modelling.

Notes
I designed this pattern to use up the leftovers from my Mallards Convertible Cowl. No additional yarn purchases required in that case.
