Product Details

This cosy Winchester Pullover from Tahki Yarns showcases the texture of the Donegal Tweed Fine, all-over ribbing, and cable columns along one side beautifully. Two strands of yarn are held together throughout, adding depth of colour and interest to this winter wardrobe classic. The sweater is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up with seams at the sides and a three-needle cast-off joining the shoulders. Sleeve stitches are picked up along the armhole edges and worked in the round to the wrist. The cable pattern is both charted and written out.

I love the yarn but find it thins out a little in spots when knitting. It’s very similar to my very favourite yarn, Milarrochy Tweed made in Scotland by KDD Designs. I’m about half way through knitting my cardigan and it’s looking awesome
