Product Details
It's a no-brainer that the era of fossil fuels is at an end and alternative sustainable energy sources need to be embraced. Wind energy is just one of the many options perfect for the Australian landscape. This knitted wind turbine uses recycled materials in its construction, embracing all the favourite construction materials of children. It's quirky, fun and looks so good, you'll wish it was real.
Construction:
Instructions are included for knitting the base either flat or in the round. The three garter stitch blades are simply shaped with slipped stitch edgings. The turbine is knit in the roud with simple shaping to creae the nose cone.
A small amount of stuffing is required to help the turbine maintain its shape.
