This headband was inspired by necessity - namely Winter in Chicago! The ribbing pattern makes for a warm & stretchy fit, double buttons keep it secure, and the flower is there just for fun! Instructions include line-by line directions for using multiple gauges of yarn, crocheted trim around the piece and directions for making the flower. Other than the button loop, I have not included a button hole in the headband itself - I have found that the ribbing allows for enough of an opening to allow the buttons to pass - but if you prefer to include one, make it about 1.5 - 2 inches from the end of your band.
