Color work is my favorite and this hat is the perfect way to practice Fair Isle crochet. The technique used in this hat makes crochet fabric look like it's been knitted.
It's worked top-bottom and the pattern comes with detailed instructions to master the stitch used and a color chart to follow along.
It's a very easy pattern, but might be too complicated for beginners.
