Product Details
Inspired by the gloomy, cold rooms of House Stark, and named for the fictional forest that lies North of Winterfell. Knit with a super bulky, super soft yarn, this blanket looks like you would find it amongst the many layers of woven throws and furs on the beds of the Stark family.
Use circular needles for knitting flat to support the weight of the blanket as it grows.
Heavier yarn and larger needles makes this a quick knit for a blanket. You can choose to add trim like fringe, tassels or faux fur. Pattern includes instructions for the optional faux fur trim.
Pattern is both written and charted.
Because the cables are both written and charted, I feel like this pattern could be suitable for a very adventurous beginner, but the center cable does include more challenging cables, and thus I have rated this an intermediate level pattern.
