Product Details

tThis is a pattern for a light weight wrap. It’s heavier than a shawl. It is comprised of a single stitch, that comes to us from Japan. The stitch itself is an unusual lace with a bit of cabling in the center sections. The mock cables give it an interest not usually found in this type of lace. The stitch is both charted and written out line by line. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged. The lace itself is a true lace.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

The focal stitch is both charted and written out line by line.

The yarn used in the sample is Fleece Artist’s Lofty 2-6 in colorway, Tulip.

Almost any heavy weight fingering yarn or sport weight yarn will work for this pattern, that yield a gauge of 5 st/inch using around a US size #5 (4.00mm) needle will work well for this pattern.

No crochet hooks needed if the optional edging is not desired.
