Product Details
Elegant, sophisticated, snarky... what could be better than that. The gorgeous spring-like mint and peach tones in the Yer Arse and Parsley cross stitch pattern belies the meaning of the text, which is a Scottish insult translating roughly to, "You're talking shit." The phrase can be used to make your own exclamations of frustration more colourful, or for those more sensitive you could say it's an inspirational phrase promoting a healthy whole diet ... This Jacobean-era inspired cross stitch pattern also features sparkling Japan Threads in a glorious copper, as well as shiny copper beads. The pattern comes with a full black and white pattern and a full colour pattern. Model stitched over two on Zweigart 28ct Cashel linen (Antique White). A link to a tutorial for couching is included in the pattern. ADDITIONAL MATERIALS NEEDED: 1 spool of Kreinik 021J (Copper) Japan Thread #7, as well as one pack of Mill Hill 03038 (Antique Ginger) size #11 seed beads. You will also need sewing or embroidery threads that match the colour of the Kreinik threads for couching -- DMC 21 embroidery floss will work for the Copper Japan Thread.
