Yorkshire is a triangular shawl worked from the top down and features a delicate lace pattern and simple border. The shawl has a wider wingspan with increases on every row.
It is easily adjusted to any yarn quantity by changing the number of repeats worked in the main pattern stitch.
Any fingering weight wool or wool blend will work well with this pattern.
Instructions include both Charted and Written Instruction. Shown in shawl and scarf sizes. Shawl size shown, blocked: 54" X 22", using 400m/433yd. Scarf size shown, blocked: 38" X 16", using 183m/200yd. Gauge: 20 sts to 4" over stocking stitch, unblocked.
