Another pattern in a series of shawls that look complex but are really simple - perfect for beginners and good fun for more advanced knitters.
Zosia was created to find a good use for all those single yarn skeins I had in my stash. I think this may be a problem for many knitters – so many beautiful skeins which are not enough for a project and at the same time too beautiful not to use!
The shawl is slightly asymmetrical, perfect for wearing with the ends wrapped around and brought back to the front.** It’s worked in garter alternating solid and variegated yarn.** Picots and eyelets form additional decorative elements and aggressive blocking can make your Zosia really lacy.
You'll need 2 colours - solid for background and variegated or tonal for the colouring effect.
The pattern can be customized by using different yarns, needle sizes or adding repeats to the pattern.
