    About

I decided on a design challenge, to use the same stitch pattern in two different projects, creating the one out of lace weight (Interlace Shawl) and the other out of super bulky (Enmesh). I was curious to explore how the pattern would appear in the two yarn weights.

In the lace of this light shawl, the "squareness" of the stitch pattern is less visible. The woven nature of the stitch pattern isn't prominent and the stitch pattern has a look of sea foam about it. I paired it with the strong visual element of the lines in the border to anchor the shawl.
