A beautiful blend of merino wool, alpaca and viscose, Rowan Felted Tweed DK has been lightly pre-felted to produce a felted look when knitted up. The rustic colour palette makes this yarn perfect for fair isles, striping and other colour work - and a favourite with Rowan designers. Nice wool, good range of colours, I don’t think it’s a standard double knit, more in between DK and 4 ply. I’ve knitted a few house items with it, but it can be expensive for these if you need a lot of colours but don’t use all the ball.
Fabulous yarn. It knits up easily and when blocked makes me look like a perfect knitter.
