Product Details
This festive tea cosy is knitted in pieces and sewn together. The base of the cosy is knitted in two pieces and sewn together. The ‘leaves’ are worked sideways and sewn to the base, slightly overlapping each other.
You will need two balls of the main colour and just small amounts of the red and yellow. I used 10g of red and yellow.
The berry decorations are worked as bobbles and sewn onto each point. Alternatively you could use beads or small red buttons which would look just as lovely.
The star is worked in two pieces and sewn together and stitched to the top of the cosy.
The cosy is designed to match the egg cosies in ‘Mini Christmas Knits’.
This is an easy project and if you haven’t worked short row shaping before just have faith, follow the instructions and it will work!
