Product Details
Cordelia a sleek modern asymmetrical scarf made with one skein of fingering weight sock yarn, perfect to showcase indie hand dyed yarn.
You can also use any yarn and repeat the set pattern for a larger scarf. It's up to you! The sample was made using one-off indie dyed yarn however LoveCrafts stock a range of gorgeous sock yarns that would work brilliantly with this pattern. I have listed some suggestions in the Yarn section.
You'll be working from one corner with a series of increases and decreases to create a fairly long and skinny asymmetrical shape.
Stitches used are UK treble crochet (USA double crochet) and UK double treble crochet (US treble crochet), cross stitches, increases and decreases and a simple faux picot edging.
The pattern includes UK and US terms, clear desciptions of special stitches and a row chart to help keep track of stitches and stitch counts.
The pattern is available free on my blog The Stitch Foundry.
