Product Details
Echo Azure is a study on the interplay between variegated and solid yarns. Named after a butterfly with frosty, iridescent wings, the shawl is made of garter stitch, stripes, and shell stitches formed with knit-below stitches.
Starting from the upper right corner, the shawl is knit on the bias to create an asymmetric triangle that is both comfortable to wear and fun to work on. A shell-stitch border and a stretchy bind-off finish off the design.
This pattern is written with both metric and US terminology. Pattern instructions are provided only in written format but a step-by-step photo tutorial for knitting the shell stitch is included.
Gauge: 18 sts × 36 rows (18 garter ridges) = 10 cm / 4" in garter stitch, blocked
