Product Details

Shinrin-yoku is Japanese for forest bathing and simply means taking a walk amongst trees; allowing yourself to fully embrace the spirit of the place; to open up your senses and breathe in the atmosphere of the forest. It is a practice I like to indulge in on a fairly regular basis as I find it the perfect way to ground myself and relax when I am feeling stressed. I always feel better after a walk in the forest!

A mid-calf length sock, knit from the cuff down with a heel flap and gusset construction and stocking stitch body with a leafy lace panel running down the front. The pattern is written for four foot circumferences. Lace pattern is both written & charted.

Leg and foot length can be easily adjusted to suit.

Gauge 30sts x 42rnds = 10cm stocking stitch worked in the round on 2,5mm needles, blocked.

Skills required

* working in the round * knit, purl, ssk, ktog, yo. * picking up heel flap sts for gusset * following chart or written instructions for lace * grafting sts for toe
