B-loved is a cable and lace baby blanket with a moss stitch border. It is knitted in one piece from bottom to top in a dk yarn on 4mm needles. It is a lovely size for a pram or perfect to use for cuddles. Designed for intermediate or experienced knitters who know how to complete cable stitches and will be able to combine cabling and decreasing.
Suggested Yarn Drops Cotton Merino (50% Wool/50% Cotton) - 7 balls of 50g. Total required 850m/930yds. Choose a soft textured, plied smooth yarn with good stitch definition for pleasing results
Gauge 21sts & 28 rows on ball band. Blocked 10cm² stocking stitch swatch on 4mm needles = 22sts x 32 rows
The pattern was inspired by a very special little boy, Bear Watts; who was diagnosed with Hypoplastic left heart syndrome whilst in utero. All proceeds made from the sale of this pattern will be pledged to the Little Hearts Matter charity.
