      The colours look lovely and it still shows the pattern up. I do most of bands by picking up the edges, I find I can get them to sit better. I bet Amelia looks cute in her new cardigan.

        Thankyou I was particularly pleased with how the button band worked so well it actually looks like I'd planned it all along but I hadn't realised you had to pick up stitches all around the band I've never done one like that before but it's so much simpler then knitting hundreds of rows of 8 stitches 😀

        @Amanda D: i must try this as i hate doing bands where you do all those rows of 8 stitches or less i tend to not knit them

        Thank you I wasn't sure if the wool would be suitable for a baby cardigan but it's so soft I'm really pleased with it..I thought the colours might be too strong but again I'm pleased with how it's turned out

      This was so quick and easy.. Knitted in one piece to the armholes.. Only took 4 evenings to make and used up leftover wool from another project..
