Made these socks to wear for yoga exercises where you need toes and heels free. Easy pattern, knitted on larger needles than I would usually use for this ply when making socks. Finished item ok, however if making more yoga socks, would choose a different type of yarn, something more wooley, and would probably go for a pattern in double/aran for a cosier sock. Free pattern, gives instructions using two long circulars or DPN's. Used DPN's placing stitches on 3 needles, easy knit. Suppose you could probably just use any sock pattern omitting the heel and toe sections.
