I was looking for a fun, beachy project and found this pattern…I LOVE it! I’ve modified a bit to move the white part into the body of the bag (I thought white top/strap would get dirty quickly), added some bobbles to mimic waves crashing, and widened the waves by doing 4 rows of each color.
For the purse, I just used the same wave pattern, modified size (keeping the stitches in multiple of 8), and added the flap w/ bobble edge.
I’ve done 2 beach bags and the purse so far, but have gotten requests for more!
