Christmas 2020 Beanie

    Beschreibung

    Cast on using German Twisted Cast On, and knit using magic-loop.

    I did do a gauge swatch first in stockinette, as suggested by the pattern, and my gauge was spot on. This hat, who I made for a man, barely fits onto my own head, so I know it will be too small for my son-in-law, the intended recipient.
    All I can figure is that the yarn itself just doesn't have much give to it.

    It wasn't at all pleasant to knit with, too scratchy. I'm hoping it will soften up with a wash & a soak, then I shall find a smaller head to gift it to.
