Hi! may i ask how you did this? i was going to do the grid paper thing as well, but did you cut pieces then reconnect? for instance, the M inside the white. when you got to where you wanted, did you cut pieces, connect to the white, knit, cut again, connect, etc. over and over?
I did it all in order from the bottom. I on a grid sheet I decided how many loops to make the border and the M. I cut and tied as I went along. I have also done just the letter and attached later by timing it in with extra pieces from the ends but that leaves large holes. And I would use the lion brand ez loop yarn only because it has a tighter stitch hold. I have used berenat brand also but it leaves large holes in between any designs I made because it is a looser stitch. And the lion brand is a much thicker and heavier blanket. Good luck and I would love to see it when you finish. If you have any questions let me know I have done many different designs (hearts, unicorns, stars, cat face and I make woodland animal shaped pillows)
@Marissa H: thank you soooooo much for your reply! I was actually going to try it by making my own loops 😬 im a little nervous though, and have tons of loop yarn left over from other projects, so i may practice with that first.
I would love to see the hearts design!!
