Made with Willow & Lark nest in colour Rose.
Lovely yarn to knit with.
I have now finished the cardigan.
The lace border is worked from a chart and it nearly put me off using this pattern.
However it wasn't too bad as it was my first attempt.
Admittedly I had to unpick it a few times but got there in the end.
Will definitely use the pattern and yarn again.
The cardigan is a lovely classic/vintage style.

Did you ever finish the Alice cardigan ?

The middle of the border chart is where the front sections come together for the buttonband.
I made size 4-5 years, so at the side edges I left the 3 stitches and started the holes after that.
So on row 9 of left front I knit 3, yfwd, K2tog to avoid the holes on the side seams.
For the middle I did make the holes so row 1 left front K1, yfwd, sl1,K1,psso
The middle of the chart represents K1 or P1 for both sides of the front.
I didn't notice Cheyenne but I think they have marked the fronts incorrectly.
I worked them the other way, so I replicated the back.
I knitted front left as front right and it looked fine.
Genuinely think the pattern is wrong.
I can't wait to see the finished cardigan😀

I struggled with this at first but it's just a decrease, in that you sl1,k1,psso or K2tog but aren,t doing a yfwd so you lose 2 sts
The blank squares represent this the lost stitches
You decrease again on row 29
Get back to me if you are still struggling.
If it's any consolation I had to unpick mine as I didn't understand this section.
