Another good pattern from Frogginette. I like her patterns a lot. She sometimes repeats the same set of directions in more than one spot in the pattern. This is convenient - hooray for redundancy. When I was writing computer software documentation, I learned the value of redundancy. She makes good use of bold fonts, gives stitch counts between the markers - these details are so helpful. I used aran weight yarn instead of the DK weight recommended. The sweater turned out super warm and thick. The roundness of the Schachenmeyr yarn made the twisted rib stitch really pop.

Notizen I used st. counts for 18 month size, but due to the heavier weight yarn, it turned out larger than the dimensions given for this size.

You make the most adorable things. And I feel you on the non knitting crafts, it is annoying to look up knitting projects and see random pictures. I support your lasagna suggestion.

Oh. Ha. Lasagne. Well, I've calmed down now. When LoveKnitting recently redefined themselves as LoveCrafts, it seems that they just did not fully support this on the community page. They want to sell more stuff, like sewing and embroidery supplies. That's great - they're running a business. But now the community page needs more choices in addition to just knitting and crochet - like embroidery, quilting, sewing, painting, other. Personally, I'm only interested in the knitting. I get a lot of good ideas from other knitters, and I enjoy that projects on the community page are mostly just regular people who are not selling stuff.
