Knitted “Plushie”

    Beschreibung

    This Plushie is an easy toy to make. I adapted a pattern for a rabbit plushie, downloaded from Handy Little Me (as it stated that this toy was suitable from birth).
    The theme of my Granddaughter’s Nursery is woodland animals. She has a fox accessories & bedding & that’s why I decided to make a fox. I used Rico Aran in Nature for the main body and, ironically, the colour Fox for the accent colour (available from Love Crafts)
    The black used for the eyes & nose was from Utopia Tiny Wool collection on Amazon. I sewed them freehand using a darning needle. I started the nose by making a heart shape in the fox colour & added a black triangle the centre of which makes a starting point for the mouth. I adapted the pattern for the bunny shaped ears & knitted triangles in stocking stitch (There are patterns for knitting triangles available on YouTube if you’re unsure how to do that. Simply adapt the pattern, number of stitches & size to your needs).

    Notizen Measurements approximate (I allowed an extra cm for arms & legs so they could be sewn in to the body therefore the actual visible length is 1cm less).
    Body:- Length 10.5cm (including 0.5cm extra for seam). Width 4.5cm
