Hi Sharon I've knitted the bag section but I'm struggling to understand how you do handles and close the sides up. Any help or tips would be helpful first time knitting a market bag. Thank you
Hi Lisa,
It also took me a while to work out how that length was going to be the sides, but it is. Pick up and knit along the side of the bag (length) then cast on your 80 stitches. Sometimes with knitting it doesn't make sense when you just read the instructions you actually just have to do each step and it will fall into place. My didn't come out perfect by any means but I guess it is still usable. Hope this helps.
Sharon, I’m new to knitting. Can you help me understand how this becomes a bag? It is not knitted in the round and the directions do not mention sewing the sides together.
