The two pairs of socks for my family this Christmas. I need to do a bit of detective work to confirm what sizes they should be and then finish off the toes.
I see what you mean about the socks Helen! They are marvellous. One thing I have never tackled is socks. Might have a go in the new year when the Christmas mayhem is over!
Thank you Karen. I’m certainly much more confident knitting socks now. 😂 I’ve started on my first Christmas Jumper, and am making some of Pat A’s gift baskets for the little ones for the table. They are lovely patterns to knit. 😁
@Helen B: Sounds like you are making good progress. I had a look at Pat A's gift baskets and they are delightful. I also saw her Santa pattern and now I am trying to work out how I can fit making that in along with everything else ... :)
Well done Helen another 2 well made pairs of socks hope the finishing goes well. Are you a converted sock knitter now I mean you must have been going round in circles for sometime now what lovely Christmas gifts for your family 🥰😍😂💕
Thanks so much Maria. I certainly felt like I was going round in circles at times, but I’m now much happier with circular knitting, 🥴 and yes, I could be a converted sock knitter, but only if I know the recipient will wear them. I’ve found an excellent video for explaining Kitchener stitch so I’m much happier with the thought of finishing them all off. 😜😁🥰💕
@Helen B: its true though Helen we make things and worry if people will like them but of course they will you took the time to make something you thought they would like just for them.😊😊💕that's our wee baby Charlie or should I say Charles when he is naughty.lol.😊😊💕💕
