      What cast-on do you use? I've just started a beanie in super chunky and I'm going to have to re-start as the edge (german twisted cast on) is too tight!

        I did actually use German twisted cast on, but yesterday I started a waistcoat in super chunky on 12mm needles and just used the normal standard cast on, it seemed to work fine. Usually though, I go up a needle size when I cast on, so that might be worth a try. Good luck :)
