      The pattern uses fingering, LB Mandala is DK......I'm assuming this doesn't matter??

      The pattern is not that hard as long as you keep your stitch count and place in pattern. It is repeats of the same rows, just more stitches, the colour changes are in the yarn and that makes it look harder than it is. Plus there is a video on Crochet Crowd to help with the pattern
