    Beschreibung

I thought I would squeeze in some bunny time before I start Christmas knits. This was a trial of Claire Garland's sitting bunny. Like Claire's other patterns, I think I spent more time sewing, squishing and sculpting than knitting!

Such a sweet fluffy bunny, as with most good projects, it's the finishing that takes the time, but well worth it.😃

Thank you, Michelle. Yes, like with your beautiful dolls, it helps to repeat patterns to get to grips with them. 😊

@Sue C: I agree Sue it's funny how different designers have different ways of writing their patterns. I have so many of Dot Pebbles patterns as I love them but have not been brave enough to tackle them yet.lol.😊😊Thank you for your lovely comment about my dolls, it's funny how when you are knitting something you really enjoy it makes such a difference. I hope you make another Dutch rabbit they are soo cool with their long hair and body shape.😊😊❤

@Michelle M: You're right about getting to know different designers, Michelle. After the first Dot Pebbles you do get a feel for her style. I'm sure you would enjoy making up one of hers. But do keep making your beautiful dolls. I like to have a challenge, but also like to have some easier knits too! I will return to the Dutch bunny but there are always other patterns I am tempted by!

Thank you, Dianne. The wool was a bargain and knitted up well. Very soft yarn. 😊

He is gorgeous Sue, and you've made me want to start another one. I agree about the sculpting time it's all about that more than the knitting. Every time I make one of Claire's patterns I think it is never going to look like it should but I like that part of it so I'm happy to spend the extra time.

Thank you, Christine. Claire's patterns are always a challenge, but worth the effort. I have the woodland book on my birthday list for next month but don't think I will be able to match your wolf! I'd like to have a go at the squirrel and badger as we have both in our garden. But I have some Christmas knits first. Although I think I might try and squeeze in a Holland Lop first! 😂
