    Beschreibung

This is my first knitting project! I remember watching my grandma knitting when I was a little child - it seemed so complicated.

Somehow I decided to learn knitting myself when the first lockdown started in the UK. I spent a lot of time selecting a pattern and yarns for it! I had to learn everything from scratch as I had never knitted before. Thanks the enormous resources available online, I managed to lean everything from making a slip knot to making a buttonhole! There were some frustrating moments during the journey when I can't seem to understand some stitches (button holes are really difficult), but I am so happy I made it!

I really like the fuzzy texture of the Lettlopi yarn and enjoyed knitting with it. You can even smell the smells of sheep! Perhaps because it is pure new wool. The downside is that it can be quite itchy when wearing directly on skin - so I wear it with a layer underneath.

I'm now looking to start another project - a blanket with sheep patterns on it!

    Nadeln

    • Single Point 4.50mm (US 7) 20cm
    • Single Point 5.00mm (US 8) 20cm
    • Single Point 5.00mm (US 8) 40cm

    Accessoires

    • Sticknadeln
    • Knöpfe
Andere : I didn't but buttons for my cardigan and used some attached to a garment I bought - they are a bit too small so not very secure!

    Maße

    36-38in

Notizen I made the sleeve length a bit shorter based on my own measurements and it worked well. I could have made a size S or even XS as the current size is a bit too big for me!

Great cardigan, well done on your first project. That is a beautiful yarn but as Lynn said not the easiest to knit with for a new knitter.

Well done on your first project. You didn’t choose the easiest yarn to start with. Hopefully there’ll be many more to come.
