    Hat colour a little too light. Next time I would try Paton Roving Dark Grey.

    Maße

    Notizen 1 ball King Cole clerical - mittens (3.25mm dpn)
    1 ball King Cole clerical - cowl (3mm circular, because my knitting is loose on circular, most would use a 3.25mm)
    1 ball Patons Roving Grey (hat ribbing 5.5mm, hat top 6mm)

    Cowl: Followed size of cowl indicated in the pattern (20" circumference, 11" high) and then extrapolated the number of stitches from the stitch gauge on wool band. i.e. 130 stitches. Added 3 rows of garter to start and finish, rest stocking stitch.

    Hat: used 72 stitch version of hat = medium sized for woman.
